With roots stretching back to 1926, Central and Cecil Housing Trust has long been dedicated to providing quality homes, care and support that contribute to the health and vitality of communities in and around London.
The trust is a not-for-profit organisation whose services include residential and nursing care homes and hostels for homeless people amongst a wide range of community-focused projects.
Dealing with such a varied range of services can create serious logistical challenges, and co-ordinating the resulting information can be equally as testing. Central and Cecil Housing Trust quickly realised that an information management tool would be the ideal solution to both problems, and an intranet was the ideal candidate to perform this function.
Central and Cecil Housing Trust contacted Orchid Software with a definite plan for intranet implementation, and as a result the discussion process quickly produced the conclusion that Orchidnet PRO was the way to take the trust’s internal processes forward.
The implementation and population process started in late 2006, since when Central and Cecil Housing Trust have worked closely with Orchid Software to ensure the system matches their exact requirements; the installation is expected to go live in the third quarter of 2007. |
