Since its launch in 1993, Mortgages for Business has been at the forefront of the Buy to Let mortgage market. As well as providing Buy to Let and Commercial mortgages, the company also specialises in providing development finance for both residential and commercial property developments. With specialist teams dealing with commercial owner-occupier mortgages and commercial investment mortgages, Mortgages for Business has an admirable range of skills and experience within the commercial property sphere.
With a scale of operations that is at once wide-ranging and inherently specialised, Mortgages for Business required an organisational hub that would allow each department to retain its own particular operational focus without being entirely excluded from the business as a whole. A system that could provide this functionality was the bare minimum that was required.
In early 2005, Orchid Software approached Mortgages for Business to find out how Orchidnet could benefit their business. Mortgages for Business needed an information management infrastructure that would allow employees to create and share files and information quickly and easily, both within their own department and across the business as a whole. Orchidnet’s department and project infrastructure allows for this flexibility, while the ease of content creation and sharing of information between users provided Mortgages for Business with the ideal solution to their problem.
The Mortgages for Business instance of Orchidnet was installed on the 18th of March 2005, and went live soon after. |
