Contacting Orchid Software as part of their procurement process allowed ISG to analyse how Orchidnet could provide the high level of service and success that the company demands from its own representatives. To demonstrate the perfect fit between Orchidnet’s functionality and ISG’s requirements, prototype intranet pages were developed to ISG specifications including example content, policies and project pages, allowing the company to gain a significant insight into how their requirements would be accommodated in a live, active installation.

Virtual demonstration helped to illustrate Orchidnet’s suitability, and several client references with existing Orchidnet clients of a similar size and scope to the proposed installation proved the success of Orchidnet in real-world terms applicable to ISG.

Subsequent discussions resulted in ISG selecting Orchidnet as the preferred candidate for their intranet in October 2009, and Orchid Software continues to work closely with the company to implement their intranet.
